Whistleblower Policy

At Sunday Natural, we want to be informed about any unlawful behaviour within our company in order to clarify and remedy such behaviour and to protect our integrity and ethical standards. The whistleblower policy explains how concerns can be raised, the types of issues that should be reported and the protections that are afforded to whistleblowers.

Please inform us of any violations or imminent violations of our ethical principles, laws (including along our supply chain) or regulations. Whistleblowers are afforded protection against retaliation when disclosing any of the listed violations, including:

  • Violations punishable by law
  • Violations carrying fines, especially those pertaining to health, the preservation of life and limb, or the rights of employees or their representative bodies, such as:
    • Breaches of health and safety regulations
    • Contraventions of the Minimum Wage Act
  • Breaches of national legislation and EU directives, encompassing areas such as
    • The regulation of consumer rights and consumer protection
    • Food and feed safety
    • Data privacy
    • Product Safety
    • Environmental protection
    • Quality and safety standards for medicinal products and medical devices
    • Information technology security
    • Money laundering and terrorist financing

Any individual inside or outside our company can be a whistleblower, independent of their status as an employee, applicant, business partner or independent third party. All information, including the identity of and references to the whistleblower, will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will only be processed within the framework of the applicable laws. Our privacy policy will apply.

A whistleblower should only provide information that they – in good faith – believe is correct. The whistleblower is not acting in good faith if they are aware that a reported fact is untrue. The misuse of the whistleblower policy through the submission of knowingly false reports may result in legal and disciplinary action; a fact should therefore be presented as an assumption or judgement.

The whistleblower policy is exclusively intended to receive and process reports of actual or alleged violations of laws, regulations and our ethical principles. This policy does not apply to general complaints or inquiries regarding products or warranties. For inquiries regarding products and orders, please contact our customer service team.
