Bioactives
Bioactives such as vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, fatty acids, fibre and secondary phytochemicals support the body's natural processes and contribute to maintaining health. While they are found in many foods, they can also be supplemented to help meet daily requirements. Endogenous substances such as hyaluronic acid or collagen can also be supplemented for additional support.
Collagen & Connective Tissue
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, comprising more than 30% of the total weight of all the body's proteins. As a structural protein, it plays a vital role in conferring elasticity and strength to various tissues, including cartilage, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue, skeletal muscles, blood vessels, skin, bones and teeth; different types of collagen are found in each specific tissue. Vitamin C and camu camu, which is rich in vitamin C, contribute to the formation of collagen and trace elements such as copper and manganese contribute to the formation of connective tissue.
Glucosamine
Glucosamine is the main building block in the synthesis of proteoglycans (a component of cartilage, tendons, ligaments and synovial fluid) and is a precursor of hyaluronic acid. Chondroitin is a component of cartilage mass.
Hyaluronic Acid
Highly dosed, purely vegan hyaluronic acid. 100% from fermentation in two different qualities that differ in their molecular weight. No additives.
